The Snoo is an incredibly expensive piece of machinery (aka fancy ass bassinet) that rocks your baby back and forth and straps them down so they can’t turn over. We spent nearly $1,500 on it and maybe saved a couple dollars with some discounts we found online. Overall, we used it for 6 weeks and during that time, I found it extremely hard to transfer my already sleeping baby into it. Kaylee had this tendency of falling asleep while breastfeeding or on the bottle and if I didn’t think to already put her the snoo sack it was good luck to me to get her in that thing still asleep… and if I could get her in the sack before I had to place her exactly in the right spots to engage the clips so that the thing would work like it should. Whenever I placed her down in the Snoo awake, she would cry so much the snoo would shut off… so like what’s the point? It’s honestly so tempting to spend so much money on something that is the safest bassinet in the whole world. Who doesn’t want to keep their kids safe? But if your kid is like mine, and prefers the human touch, the Snoo might not work the way it’s supposed to and you might just end up with some expensive thing you didn’t use that much like me.
